My name is Angela Scott but most of my friends and family just call me Ange. I've always loved photography, so I purchased my first camera right out of high school and never looked back. That was, of course, the good ole days where we actually developed the film, holding physical photos in your hand not just seeing a digital image and forgetting about it. (That's a whole other topic that's close to my heart, but moving on for now.) The love of photography kept growing especially after starting a family; being a mom is truly a blessing from God. Knowing I would never be able to remember every single moment, I tried my best to capture these memories through the lens. The blessing of being a mom lead me to relize that every milestone in a family/child's life should be celebrated.This is such an inspiration for the photographer I've become today.

As a child I loved going to my grandparents house and looking through all their photo albums of memories they made through the years. My grandmother would just light up as we walked through her home looking at her proudly displayed wall portraits, each one having their own story. Saying all this brings me back to the digital topic. Do we really want to keep all our memories on a hard drive that can fail or thumb drive hidden in a drawer somewhere? The answer is NO! Our homes should be filled with stories from the portraiture that is displayed ON OUR WALLS!! Think of the impact the investment you make today will have on the generations of tomorrow.
